Summary

After numerous auto industry companies left Muncie, its economy fell on hard times. This led to a decline in city services and employment opportunities, and an eventual increase in poverty and drug use. Mayor Dan Ridenour and Mr. Mike Martin formed a public/private partnership to bring Impact Economics to their city. After only 3-years, Ball State University is now involved and the positive impact is becoming palpable.
